Differ-X operates as an intermediary platform connecting consumers with the automotive marketplace. We disclose that consumer data is cleanly structured into "Buyer Requests" and "Seller Valuations" and shared securely with authorized third-party automotive dealer partners solely for the purpose of facilitating inventory matching and cash buyout transactions.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Any data sharing with dealer partners is contractual and limited to the specific transaction or inquiry you initiate. Our dealer partners are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information and to use it only for the purpose of responding to your vehicle inquiry.
We may also share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics services, and customer support platforms. These providers are bound by data processing agreements that restrict their use of your information.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher, access controls, regular security audits, and staff training. The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
