California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

Effective Date: June 11, 2026

1. Scope

This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA").

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

  • Identifiers (name, email, IP, account ID).
  • Commercial information (vehicles viewed, leads submitted, dealer interactions).
  • Internet/network activity (device, browser, referral, session events).
  • Geolocation (ZIP / coarse location for search radius).
  • Inferences (vehicle preferences, buying intent signals).

3. Sources & Purposes

We collect this information directly from you, from your devices, from dealer partners, and from public vehicle records. We use it to operate the marketplace, generate valuations, fulfill leads, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

4. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Differ-X does not "sell" personal information for money. We may "share" limited identifiers and commercial information with dealer partners to fulfill your lead requests, which may qualify as "sharing" under CPRA. You may opt out at any time.

5. Your California Rights

  • Right to know what we collect and how it is used.
  • Right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

6. How to Exercise Rights

Submit a verifiable consumer request to g@differ-x.com or via your account's Privacy page. Authorized agents may submit requests with written authorization. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing.

7. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law (typically 24 months for marketplace activity).
